Fantasy Appliance: Idea Change

I am changing my appliance to a coffee maker, as I feel that would better suit the animal I chose: an elephant. 

Here is the drawing of the coffee maker:


My plan for the combined image is to extend the spout of the coffee maker out into the shape of the elephant's trunk, and the part where the cup normally goes will be the elephant's open mouth. I plan to make the trunk turned where it can shoot coffee into the mouth. The cord, of course, will be the elephant's tail.

The coffee pot and elephant connect to each other because a coffee pot dispenses coffee from its spout into a cup. An elephant drinks by sucking up water through its trunk and squirting it into its mouth.

I was struggling to come up with ideas with this project, but one of the first to come to mind was creating a few images demonstrating how anxiety feels to me. Here is an attempt at an image: I wanted to convey the feeling of always being stared at and judged by everyone around you. I need to make this image have a sense of time or motion but I'm not sure how. It's quite dark, and I wasn't sure how to change that and still keep an unsettling feeling... So I added a gradient to add more contrast between the figure and background.
